WEBCAM SITUATED IN THE PLAZA CALIXTO III
An important name in Valencian history, the city of Xàtiva, in Valencia Terra i Mar, traces its origins back to prehistoric times. From Palaeolithic settlements and caves, Moorish remains, Christian conquests and castles, this monumental town has a lot to see. The webcam at Xàtiva shows one of the most representative plazas of the Old town. The impressive hilltop castle and surrounding walls enclose an area that is now listed as a historic-artistic complex. In the town centre itself are Manorial homes, which hide typical patios and inner gardens, and stone fountains; Churches, medieval convents, and fine baroque and renaissance civic buildings.
